Actor Gary Oldman, known for his role as Harry Potter’s godfather Sirius Black, believes he can play his role much better. He talked about this on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast.
According to him, the role of Sirius turned out to be “mediocre”, and if he participated in the filming now, he would have played it completely differently.
“Maybe if I had read books like Alan (Alan Rickman, who plays Severus Snape – Ed.), if I had been one step ahead of the script, if I knew what would happen next, I think I would have acted accordingly. “To someone else,” said the actor.
By the way, such a moment of self-criticism is not unusual for Gary, because, as he himself admits, he is often dissatisfied with his old projects. “If I sat down and looked at myself in a picture and said, ‘Oh my God, I’m amazing,’ that would be a very sad day because you should want to do the next role even better.”
