Yesterday I was dutifully scrolling through a movie site to find THE Christmas movie I haven’t already seen 150 times, and it was a LONG one.
Because I admit it take my kicks Current love, The holiday, Mom I missed the plane, The Gooniesand other Gremlins. I still love them, especially the last one, let’s be clear, but I want to expand the list.
And because I’m a very dedicated person, I thought:

Krampusit’s a very American product, a sort of Christmas story between the horrible and the humorous.
Without being a memorable work and without even being of high quality, Krampus it has all the elements of a silly Christmas movieideal to watch in the evening, under a heated blanket (if it exists, I have one, don’t be jealous), in the company of a friend, with Nutella muffins and a bottle of wine.
Its deliciously perfect casting (Adam Scott, this good love idiot, Toni Collette, David Koechner, among other talents) gives pride of place to humor.
