As in the past, former President Barack Obama has made it his mission to highlight his favorite media.
Obama posted his favorite books on Twitter and Instagram today. The list follows his previous recommendations for summer reading, including nonfiction, novels and thrillers. Some of his favorite books of the year are repeat books.
“Here are the books I enjoyed reading. If you’re looking for a new book for the holiday season, give one a try. And if you can, shop at an independent bookstore or check out the books at your local library,” he said.
He promised that film and music favorites would follow.
