From 28 November to 2 December, the international BRICS+ Fashion Summit forum was held in Moscow, which is definitely not to be missed (why? read here). In this material we will tell you how the last day of the event went.

fashion intense
On the last day of the fashion-intensive event, speakers from Russia, India, Colombia, Nigeria and Sri Lanka came together. The audience attended 3 lectures, 3 workshops and 3 seminars conducted by Anna Dubrovina, brand director of the fashion business training school Fashion Factory School, professor, vice-rector of the World University of Design Sanjay Gupta, and other experts. Teachers discussed collaborations, brand ideology, waste-free production and inclusivity. Following the completion of the last lecture of the fashion intensive course, 120 participants were awarded diplomas for completing the course.

fashion shows
On the final day, fashion shows of Serbian and Brazilian designers were presented. In the Batakovic Belgrade collection there was a place for slack trouser suits, simple shirts, men’s shoulder coats, body-hugging dresses and dramatic black total looks. Lucas Leão models appeared in modern and minimalist clothes. The designer dressed men and women in monochrome looks where simple and concise silhouettes reflected sculptural forms. Their tops look more like art objects.
parallel program
At the same time, guests attended special master classes on upcycling. Participants learned about sustainable fashion at GES-2 Culture House. Russian designers Margarita Reznikova, founder of the RISHI brand, and Victoria Generalova, founder of the General VI brand, spoke and clearly showed how to give items a second life.

Let us remind you that the BRICS+ Fashion Summit was held in Zaryadye territory. Zaryadye Park’s art space, Parking Gallery, hosts fashion-oriented, B2B showrooms and shows of foreign designers. In the meantime, look for the latest news about the forum on the official website and in the VKontakte community (you can also watch fashion shows in the live broadcast recording)!
