Elon Musk admitted that he was considering suicide by attending the DealBook Summit 2023 conference.
The entrepreneur said he experienced an “existential crisis” when he was 12 years old. “Is all this pointless? Why don’t you commit suicide? Why is there?” he thought then.
“My motivation at the time was that my life was really limited. “Only if we can expand the scope and scale of consciousness can we better understand what questions we need to ask and perhaps learn what the meaning of life is,” he added.
Elon admitted that his mind reminds him of a “wild storm” because he has a constant “fountain of ideas.” “These mental demons in my head are mostly used for productive purposes. But sometimes, you know, things go wrong,” he digs.
