This is the terrifying moment passengers screamed as a Russian Aeroflot plane shook uncontrollably after being hit by turbulence.
During a flight on the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky route to Moscow, panicked passengers of the Boeing 777-300 could be seen clutching the seats in front of them as the plane spun around.
While flying over the Northern Ural Mountains, the plane suddenly began to shake.
A woman who had gone to the toilet before the turbulence began suffered head injuries when she was thrown back and forth as she tried to return to her seat.
A passenger named Lyubov, who later spoke to Russian newspaper Izvestia, said the crew had warned people about the turbulence, but no one had expected it to be so intense.
