Terrence Howard signs with Independent Artist Group

EXCLUSIVE: Independent Artist Group has signed Terrence Howard, the Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor known for his roles in Crowd and river, crashing down And richfor representation.

Howard received these awards for his starring role in Craig Brewer’s former Paramount film, in which he played DJay, a Memphis pimp who fights his way to becoming a successful hip-hop emcee in the midst of a midlife crisis.

For his role as TV director Cameron Thayer in the Lionsgate Best Picture winner crashing down, which explored stories of race, loss and redemption among LA residents living very different lives, received the National Board of Review Award for Breakthrough Achievement. The lead actors alongside him included Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Brendan Fraser and Matt Dillon.

Throughout his film career, Howard has worked with many of the industry’s top directors and actors. Howard is currently seen with Dolph Lundgren in Confrontation at the Grand, an action thriller from Shout! Studios follows a proud movie theater owner who teams up with a legendary action star to defend his family business against corporate developers as art imitates life in a showdown for the ages.

Otherwise, he is best known for his portrayal of music mogul Lucious Lyon in the Fox television series richHoward was last seen on television The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which entered the top 10 of Nielsen’s streaming rankings earlier this year as Peacock’s first original. One of the actor’s upcoming projects is John Ridley’s Netflix picture Shirleystarring Regina King as America’s first black congresswoman, Shirley Chisholm.
