The host of the show contacted the actress by phone and congratulated her on her marriage (Jennifer Lawrence is married to Cooke Maroney, the couple married in the fall of 2019) and the birth of a child.
During the conversation, Ellen marveled at how the young mother is dealing with motherhood (J. Lo and Ellen are neighbors): “Sometimes I hear you talk to her, and it’s very nice.”
Up to this point, Jennifer and Cook had not publicly revealed the sex of their baby, but Ellen has confirmed that he is a boy.
