Elena Letuchaya and Artem Water Fork in Chukotka: new movie “VK Places”

VK project “Places” has prepared a new series of a mind-blowing journey. This time we will move to Chukotka. Where can you see hundreds of whales, thousands of walruses, a magnificent fox and reindeer all together? Who is the “real person”? – Watch a video.

On November 11, at the exhibition forum “Russia” at VDNKh, the film was presented as part of the Day of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Presenters Elena Letuchaya and Artem Waterfork went on an interesting adventure not only to test their strength, but also to get in touch with the lives of indigenous peoples in the north. How about sitting and fishing in Yaranga?

Just imagine it! The project team visited the only place on land where the 180th meridian intersects. This means that this is where every new day on the planet begins.

“Chukotka gave me this incredible feeling of greatness. When you see whales with your own eyes, you feel all this power. When he swam up he looked at me and greeted me. I will never forget this,” says Elena Letuchaya.
