Hello to all fashion lovers! Your fashion editor is here. There are so many trends and brands in my world that I decided to keep an online journal where I would note the most important things in the industry. And although such diaries are often called personal, mine is open to all readers – so you will be aware of the most interesting things.

As I said before, the fashion industry has no off days. And especially during fashion month. The shows in New York and London have already ended and brought us a dozen bright news stories. Now it’s the turn of the designers participating in Milan Fashion Week. During these few days, we saw a large-scale Diesel show outdoors attended by 7,000 people, a standing ovation for Prada design director Fabio Zambernardi (who left the brand after 40 years of work) and, of course, Sabato de Sarno’s debut at Gucci. Meanwhile, all fashion enthusiasts were waiting for the last event with special trepidation. And this is not surprising; Every action of the brand team signaled a change in concept and the beginning of a completely new chapter. But that’s not all. The award in the “Most Creative Campaign” category was given to the Coperni brand. Arnaud Vaillant and Sebastian Meyer decided to use artificial intelligence and created an avatar of Lila Moss that travels in life mode to different parts of the digital world.

There were really many interesting events this week, so I suggest you take a short digital journey with me into the latest news from the world of fashion and learn a little more about our domestic brands, advertising campaigns and collections. Shall we begin?

Last week at the Chanoir restaurant, the Rendez-Vous brand team presented a new autumn collection. The emphasis was on clothing, as the Rendez-Vous range included leather biker jackets, natural sheepskin coats, trench coats and raincoats for the first time. The brand’s more familiar shoe and bag category includes well-known brands such as Love Moschino, Armani Exchange, Versace Jeans Couture, Casadei, MM6, as well as customer favorites Tendance, Calzetti and Maison David.

By the way, the organizers of the press breakfast also talked about new projects: the launch of an intelligent chatbot for Amelie shopping, a new format of customer events where fresh organic vegetables and fruits are served from the own Rendez-Vous farm in Krasnodar, a new effective loyalty for stylists and bloggers system and 3D animation made by young artists for the brand’s social networks.

This year Trend Island is celebrating a beautiful date; 7th anniversary of its opening. At that time, young brands were just beginning to get acquainted with the new format of the department store, which combined street style, casual and neoclassical styles of local designers from all over the country. And today Trend Island is the personification of the world of Russian fashion, style and the largest concentration of local brands. In honor of the birthday, the store has prepared a real holiday for its customers: unique collaborations with brands, garage sale, discounts on all products and the first audio tour of the store in Russia.

To give every guest the opportunity to own a piece of Trend Island, limited collaborations have been created in honor of the holiday with nine brands represented in the space: BRMSK, Solo U, Libellulas, Nola, K16, Long River, ANG , Euphoria and Moroz Ceramics. Specially designed products, each combining the store’s style with the philosophy of its occupants.

This Wednesday, a public conversation took place with the participation of Alena Akhmadullina and Tatyana Navka. The moderator was fashion industry expert Andrei Burmatikov, and the conversation itself was a continuation of Alena Akhmadullina’s participation in the show “Squad” hosted by Tatyana Navka. Participants discussed interesting behind-the-scenes moments and in response also “interviewed” Tatyana herself. Among the funny questions, there were also some very serious words about what unites sports and fashion. Speakers agreed that it was hard work, art and business.

The “Suit” section, in which Alena participated, could be watched (accompanied by popcorn) in the lounge of Akhmadullina Atelier Man, the new project of the fashion house that offers special tailoring services for men with Bespoke and Personalized techniques.

Accessories should never be ignored as they play almost the most important role in the image. Especially when it comes to bright, trendy bags. Today our fashion department will introduce you to a Russian brand specializing in the production of accessories made of genuine leather. Its founder, Camilla Kashina, set herself the task of creating a universal bag suitable for all conditions. So it was decided to launch a line of women’s bags from Kashinaka in 2022. The main feature of its accessories is the removable soft handle. It can be easily replaced with another one if desired. This simple trick will make your bag look completely different.
