Initially, the wasp spider was not a typical representative of the fauna of the Moscow region, mainly because these arthropods could be found in the southern regions of our country. However, changes in weather conditions (relatively mild winters and hot summers, as well as the availability of a food base) contributed to the resettlement of these arthropods in the northern regions, ”said Tikhon Firsov, Minister of Ecology of the Moscow Region.
