Kate was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Force, First Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Dragon Guard, and Royal Air Commander Honorary. Prince William assumed the position of Colonel-in-Chief of the Mercian Regiment and Army Air Corps and was made Royal Air Commodore of the RAF Valley Honorary.
