He was arrested on Sunday 2 July. selim Olivierthe son of the serial killer Michel Fourniret and his companion and accomplice Monica Oliverwas arrested in Nice for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl, he revealed The Parisian.

He then reportedly fled before being arrested by public security officers.
As a child he served as bait for Fourniret’s victims
Selim Olivier, 35, had discovered his parents’ crimes when he was 15, while first Michel Fourniret, then Monique Olivier, had been arrested, charged and imprisoned. He had been entrusted to an uncle and then to his half-brother.
As a child, he had served to reassure the couple’s victims into getting into their cars before they were abducted. Selim Olivier will now be heard by the investigators who also allegedly seized objects and searched his home.
