The verdict of the study conducted by American researchers fell and was published in the scientific journal Prevent chronic diseases. After sifting through dozens of fruits and vegetables, studying their fiber, vitamin and nutrient content, but also evaluating the amount of sugar or calories… Scientists have managed to draw up a list of the healthiest foods. Obviously, these are mostly green vegetables.
And if watercress occupies the first position, closely followed by bok choy, chard, beet leaves, spinach, endive, lettuce or parsley, romaine lettuce and cabbage have no respite in terms of their benefits for the body.
Arriving at the 28th position of the healthiest foods, we find the very first fruit. The latter will probably surprise you, because it’s not about strawberries, apples or pineapples (fruits we’re used to eating easily) but a citrus fruit that we taste very little as it is… You have an idea, don’t you?

And the healthiest fruit is…
Truce of suspense. The healthiest fruit in this ranking is… lemon. Rich in antioxidants, rich in vitamin C, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, the latter fully deserves its place, because it has a set of rare qualities. Ideal for fighting cholesterol or for recovering from the slightest tiredness, it can be enjoyed alone (for the bravest), in lemonade or as a daily condiment. We are aware. And you, how do you eat lemon?
