In an article published on June 9, The Parisian reveals that the collaborator of a Renaissance senator has been in police custody for two days, arrested for numerous crimes, including sexual ones. According to information from the newspaper, the 26-year-old political adviser is accused of ” rape », « willful violence », « kidnappings », « administration of harmful substances “, ” TOinvasion of privacy ” AND ” death threats by at least six complainants.
The Senate has been raided
The young man’s home was searched, as was his office in the Senate following the statements of the complainants who recount acts of great violence:
They would have been forced to consent to brutal sexual practices, beaten, humiliated and even filmed without their knowledge, in a context of jealousy and a desire for control and domination. Some described particularly violent episodes in which they were held against their will in the flat of the parliamentary assistant, who did not hesitate to hit them to force them. Another accuses the suspect of forcing him to have sex when he knew he carried a sexually transmitted disease.
The defendant worked as a collaborator of two senators: the first of the Republican party and, currently, one of the Renaissance (ex-LREM). According to Le Parisien, his duties consist of writing speeches for elected officials, preparing their travels and doing legislative work. He is teaching at the same time at Sciences-Po Paris, which has announced that he will end the collaboration.
A first complaint was filed in November 2022. Following this, the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation and launched a search to identify other potential victims. A judicial inquiry was also opened on 10 May.
