“The apology of homosexuality” severely punished
So two parents of students warned the management, and filed a complaint against the teacher for “apologizing for homosexuality”. A serious charge in Morocco, homosexuality is criminalized and punished with three years’ imprisonment. “The apology of homosexuality”, regarded as a religious attack, is punished even more severely, with sentences ranging from three to five years in prison.
However, the majority of the other parents of the students in the class, as well as many former students and parents, support the teacher, who is an emblem of the school, having officiated there for several dignified ones. They denounce the injustice of her suspension and ask for her reinstatement.
