Fox News correspondent Benjamin Hall, who was seriously injured in Ukraine last year, returned to the State Department briefing for the first time since his recovery.
Hall received a standing ovation from fellow reporters.
“I felt a lot of support in that space all the time and it gave me a lot of strength to keep going,” Hall said. “I am so grateful to everyone who reached out and I appreciate it all.”
Upon his return, Hall interviewed Secretary of State Antony Blinken for Fox News on Monday. special report with Bret Baier.

One of the things you go through when you’ve had some of the injuries like me is that you had to keep something to yourself. what did you fight for where do you want to go back For me it was going back to work, it was doing things I used to do. Today, back at the State Department, it felt like it was about going back. The State Department was so helpful in getting me out of Ukraine and back to the US.”
Hall and his crew were hit by incoming fire while covering the early stages of the war. Hall lost a leg and both feet, the sight in one eye and the use of one of his hands, and severe burns in the bombing. Two of those colleagues, cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and Oleksandra “Sasha” Kuvshynova, who worked as a freelance consultant for the network, were killed.
