EXCLUSIVE: The drama from the Korean studio Lotte Cultureworks Dull moonselected for Cannesseries, will air in Korea on KT’s Genie TV on April 7, followed by a debut on pay TV network ENA and streaming service Tving on April 10.
The show also launches in Japan on April 12 on NTT Docomo’s new video streaming service Lemino (formerly known as dTV).
With Kim Seo-hyung (sky castle, The meanness) the series has been invited to screen out of competition in the Rendez-vous section later this month at Canneseries (April 14-19). Lotte Cultureworks developed and produced the show, which was co-produced by Big Ocean ENM and KT StudioGenie.
Based on a novel by Japanese author Kakuta Mitsuyo, the series follows a bored housewife who takes a part-time job at a bank and makes an irreversible decision to embezzle money from wealthy clients. The source novel has also been adapted into a Japanese film and television series.
Genie TV, an IPTV service operated by major telecom company KT, will release the first two episodes on April 7 for premium members, while ENA will air episodes every Monday and Tuesday at 10pm. TV streams episodes the same night at 11.30pm. Each episode will be available for free on Genie TV after it airs on ENA.

Lotte Cultureworks, owned by Korean conglomerate Lotte Group, is the umbrella organization of Lotte Cinema and Lotte Entertainment, a production, distribution and international distribution company with credits including Korean hits Along with the gods And Escape from Mogadishu. Lotte Cinema operates 142 theaters in Korea and 40 theaters in Vietnam.
