Nashville school shooting: Maren Morris, Jessie James Decker and other stars mourn student deaths



At least three children and three adults were killed after a gunman opened fire at Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school, in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday (March 27), according to CNN. Authorities report that there are “several patients” as a result of the incident. The identity of the shooter was not immediately released, but police said it was a 28-year-old woman. She was “hired” by the police and killed. The three victims of this mass shooting were pronounced dead after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesperson, according to ABC News. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation special agents and other personnel responded to the shooting at Green Hills Elementary School. The school teaches students from kindergarten through sixth grade. The private school was founded in 2001 as a ministry of the Covenant Presbyterian Church. The school has had an average enrollment of about 200 people in recent years, according to its website.
