New wave: Chloe Moretz starred in an awesome and scary ad campaign

In the middle of last month, the fashion industry was literally shaken by the news that singer, producer and part-time designer Pharrell Williams would take over as the creative director of the Louis Vuitton men’s collection after the legendary Virgil Abloh – we wrote and wrote here what innovation will mean for the segment.

And now the French brand has been in the news again, not once again: Jaden Smith and Chloe Moretz have become the heroes of the LV Archlight 2.0 campaign at Home. And if photos of the campaign with Will Smith’s 24-year-old son still make any statement, then the photos of the second candidate do not. It’s simple – the stylization of the images of Chloe Moretz fits perfectly into her style. Great, but absolutely terrifying.

The Chloe photos are a nod to the 2010s and 2015s, when we all started wearing dresses with sneakers. Only here, rather, we see an unsuccessful example of such stylization – one of the latest business cards of the brand – huge high-top sneakers, do not match the feminine mini-long dress of the actress. Moreover, the shoes chosen did not again, but again significantly reduce Chloe’s height – we did not see such a reaction in her more than once, or even twice. Thank you, at least, for the leather jacket with argyle inserts and loose sleeves that concealed Moretz’s broad shoulders well. And that’s actually all. Curtain.
