No place for Harry and Meghan in the coronation process, according to leaked palace plans

Leaked Rehearsal Schedules for King Charles III’s Upcoming Coronation Show There is currently no room for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle in the procession to see the King’s coronation at Westminster Abbey.

The London Times’ revelation follows reports that Harry and Meghan have been invited to the ceremony, which will take place on May 6 in the British capital.

The king’s embarrassed brother, the Duke of York, is not planned to have a place in the royal procession, nor are his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. At an event estimated to be around a third the size of HM The Queen in 1953, it appears to be room for “working royals only”.

These include the king’s sister, the Princess Royal, and her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the newly titled Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and several other adult royal cousins.

Among those in attendance is the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Louis, who stole the show at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee last June.

Two months later, at the age of four, he was deemed too young to attend her funeral procession, with his older siblings, George and Charlotte, becoming the youngest royals to attend such an event.

According to the Times, Harry and Meghan’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have not yet been invited to the coronation.
