Despite the fact that this project made him popular, the actor said that he ended this franchise after appearing in the second movie, as the story became outdated. Even then, Cattrall made it clear that she would no longer be playing the role of Samantha. She stated that she doesn’t want to “compromise what this series is” and also wants to play different roles as a “character actress”.

The actress added that “knowing when to stop is great wisdom.”

Kim Cattrall admitted that she was not even invited to the shooting of the movie “And just like that” and learned about the sequel from social networks. In addition, the actor has not yet watched the series. However, the actress expressed her pride that the fans of the series wanted to see Samantha, Kim said that she managed to “leave something to be proud of behind” and admitted that she loved her character very much.

Previously, fans believed that the reason for Samantha’s absence in the sequel was a bad relationship with her partner on the set, Sarah Jessica Parker.
