Enrico Colantoni and Mindy Cohn join the cast of Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother Frank as filming begins in Ontario

EXCLUSIVE: Enrico Colantoni and Mindy Cohn have been announced to star in the Canadian black comedy Mother Father Sister Brother Frank as principal photography started in Ontario.

The production revolves around a troubled suburban family when their troubled uncle crashes a Sunday lunch with a nasty surprise, forcing them to consider murder.

It is one of five original productions recently announced by Toronto-based indie streamer HighballTV as part of a CA$21 million ($15.6 million) investment.

The comedy genre is the debut film by actor and filmmaker Caden Douglas.

Colantoni, the most famous of which is Veronica Mars And Just shoot me! and was recently featured in the HBO Max limited series station eleventake on the role of father.

Cohn, best known for The Facts of Life and as the voice of Velma Dinkley in the Scooby Doo Franchise for Warner Brothers and soon for AppleTV+ Miss American Pieplay the mother

You will be in the cast of Melanie Leishman (Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Mrs. America) in the role of sister; Iain Stewart (management) as brother and Juan Chioran (sneakers, Hotel Transylvania – The series) as Frank. Sharon Matthews (mean girls) also appears in the cast.

The project is produced by Matt Schichter and Michael Lomenda with co-producer Johnathan Sharp.

Mother Father Sister Brother Frank began principal photography this month, shooting exclusively in Hamilton, Ontario. The team built a two-story house for the project, designed and built by production designer Joshua Turpin and his team at Production Design Toronto.
