‘White Men Can’t Jump’ Reload’s Sinqua Wallboards with UTA

EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed rising star Sinqua Walls to represent in all areas.

Walls is so far best known for starring alongside Anna Diop in Nikyatu Jusus take carewhich was picked up for distribution by Amazon Studios and Blumhouse after becoming the first horror film to win the Sundance Grand Jury Prize, and was subsequently named one of the top ten independent films of the year by the National Board of Review.

He will next be seen opposite Jack Harlow in 20th Century Studios’ anticipated reimagining of the classic sports comedy. White men can’t jumpwhich debuts on Hulu on May 19.

The actor recently wrapped production on the Netflix action thriller Keep going by Jaume Collet-Serra and the veteran indie drama Restore the line. He stars in the former alongside Taron Egerton, who also produces and shares the screen with the latter successoris Brian Cox.

The horror comedy directed by Tim Story is also up for grabs for Walls The Blackoutwhich premiered at last year’s Toronto Film Festival and will be released by Lionsgate on June 16. The actor’s other film credits include the Netflix rom-com Take refuge in love and that of Clint Eastwood The 15:17 to Paris.
