A Russian-born Swiss doctor has died four days before she was revealed this week as a doctor who helped deliver Putin’s “secret children”.
DR Natalia Thiebaud Kondratieva (63) was appointed head of the medical team that attended the birth of Putin’s children with alleged “gymnastics enthusiast” Alina Kabaeva (39).
She died in Switzerland on February 24, the first anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The cause of death has not been released, but it is known that it was attended by cancer specialists. An obituary states that she was cremated the day after her death.
On Tuesday, Proekt independent media named her as the midwife who accompanied Kabaeva to the births of at least two Putin children in 2015 and 2019.
The Kremlin leader did not disclose the existence of children with Kabaeva to the Russian people.

Putin awarded Alina Kabaeva the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” in Moscow in 2005.

A photo from Red Square dated May 9, 2019 shows Thiebaud with two other Swiss medics who flew in around this time to assist in the birth of a Kabaeva child.

Those seen with the paramedic are neonatologist Petra Caterina Maria Donati-Genet and nurse Stella Ghizelu.
They are all from the Clinica Sant’Anna in Lugano, where Kabaeva reportedly had another child in early 2015.
But it was Thiebaud who finally confirmed that Putin’s alleged lover was giving birth in Lugano.
The Proekt report says: “How did it happen that Swiss doctors who came to Moscow for several days ended up in the VIP tribune, which was closed to outsiders?
“The answer to that question is very simple.
These Swiss women made important and secret contributions to the Russian leadership.
“It was Kabaeva’s personal midwives and doctors who helped deliver their children.
“It was Thiebaud and other staff at Clinica Sant’Anna who helped Kabaeva give birth in Lugano in 2015.”
And it was Thiebaud who claimed the baby was Vladimir Putin’s.
Still, Putin and Kabaeva are rumored to have at least one more child.

Proekt’s report delved into the Russian leader’s private life and lavish residences.
She also introduced the “gymnast”, whose dealings with Putin have been making the rounds since 2008.
And it connected the dots, revealing how Putin and Kabaeva live in luxury with their children in a “royal residence” in Valdai between Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
For years, the story remained a secret, with no claims made and a newspaper shut down this year for reporting that they were engaged.
Although it was claimed that Kabaeva was cared for by staff at Clinica Sant’Anna during her pregnancy, the name of the obstetrician was not given.
It is unclear whether she knew she would be named before her death.
An obituary published by her partner Giorgio Grandini made no mention of her role in the birth of Putin’s children.
But the doctor Paola Rodoni Cassis, wife of the Swiss foreign minister, was also resigned in her obituary.

Thiebaud lived in Switzerland for a long time.
In 2020, she posted a message on social media that appeared to indicate that she knew Putin.
“He is the only father for all Mother Russia!!!!” she wrote.
“Thank you for not forgetting me.”
Eleven days before her death, after Grandini’s resignation, Thiebaud took over the management of a company called JERINA MEDIESE SA.
Thiebaud was a friend of Lidiya Slutskaya, wife of pro-Putin Russian nationalist politician Leonid Slutsky.
