Two weeks ago, Bahh Tee announced, unexpectedly for everyone, that he was stepping down from his post as head of Atlantic Records Russia. For those who did not know about Bakhtiyar Aliyev’s (real name Bahh Tee – approx. Ed) plans at the time, this news was shocking, but now we understand why such a decision was made.
Today, the artist opened his own record label, Lotus Music, and his entire team, including artists, acted with him, by the way.
“We have everything to turn the game around again, but the most important thing is that my loyal team and brothers are the most loyal and closest artists, who go with me from project to project, from label to label in full force. . The team are behind-the-scenes characters you won’t see in the media but I can assure you – they’re the coolest people in the business,” shared Bahh Tee.
However, some artists of Atlantic Records Russia, once dominated by Bakhtiyar, will still have to first conclude their current contract with an international company, and only then will they join Lotus Music.
“All artists who have no obligations to Atlantic Records Russia have moved to our new record label and will release music on Lotus Music,” Bakhtiyar said, but did not mention the names of musicians who still bear the brunt of the past. And given that the new company, Bahh Tee, occupies the same office where Atlantic is located, it’s a mystery where they will meet their obligations.
But it probably didn’t matter that much today, as their team was filled with a rookie under the name Kenan, despite the old roster of artists. As Bakhtiyar Aliyev said, we will hear from him soon.
