‘Do you want to be a star?’: Paris Hilton opens up about Harvey Weinstein’s aggressive behavior towards her as a teenager, and Weinstein has already responded

Paris Hilton revealed that she had a terrible encounter with Harvey Weinstein at the Cannes Film Festival when she was a teenager.

Hilton told British Glamor magazine that while she was having lunch with a friend at a festival in 2000, Weinstein came to their table and asked if she wanted to be an actress. “Yeah, I really want to act in movies,” says Hilton, who was 19 at the time. Paris added that Weinstein impressed her and thought he was “cool” at the time. Weinstein then allegedly harassed her and said, “Well, we need to meet. You can come to my room and read the scripts,” and I didn’t want to go, so I never went.”

But Paris said the next evening at amfAR’s annual AIDS Research Gala that Weinstein had followed her to the women’s bathroom and asked her, “Do you want to be a star?” she said she shouted. The girl said that Harvey then tried to open the bathroom door and started banging it with his fist. But as he claimed, Paris refused to open the door and said, “I’m in a cabin, why do you want to come here?” Finally she security arrived and accompanied Weinstein, who, by the way, was the host of the event. “This is my party!” she allegedly went crazy. “It scared and pissed me off,” admits Paris.

Through a spokesperson, Weinstein told Variety that Paris’ story was “probably wrong”. “He always treated Paris Hilton with great respect and kindness, and he always believed they had an intimate relationship,” said the infamous filmmaker.

Weinstein’s spokesperson, Judah Engelmeyer, told TMZ that Harvey Weinstein was so angry with Paris Hilton that she is now considering filing a defamation lawsuit against her. Judah says: “Harvey told me that never happened. She never yelled at him and never followed him. There were a lot of people at amfAR, and that is provably wrong. It’s just fine to just say it without backing and it’s too bad it’s been written down as if it’s ostensibly popular and defamation doesn’t matter anymore. Harvey plans to sue Paris Hilton for defamation.”

Recall that on February 23, the court made a final decision and sentenced Harvey to 16 years in prison (in addition to the 23 years he was currently serving). Now Harvey Weinstein is 70 years old and still has 37 years to serve his sentence, so he will be 107 when he comes out. And then it turned out that the victim of the producer, who had been hiding his identity all this time, was a Russian model.
