Patriarch’s Ponds, the heart of the capital and a trendy youth attraction, has been expanded with another art space – a new boutique by the niche perfume brand Vilhelm Parfumerie. And this is the ideal place for the first (and not only) acquaintance with the fragrances of the brand.
The history of the brand began with the passion of its founder and creative director, Jan Wilhelm Ahlgren, for the history of 18th century glove manufacturers. Back then, leather goods were inundated with floral scents to cut the unpleasant odour. The passion grew even more when Jan Ahlgren invited perfumer Jérôme Epinette to develop the compositions. The fragrance creation process fascinated Jan and prompted him to launch a perfume brand.
Although the birthplace of the perfume house is New York, the fragrances are created in France. Therefore, the boutique was designed by French architect Brieux Larsonner. The interior of the place is located at the junction of two styles, Art Deco and Bauhaus. The synthesis of geometric and stepped shapes, clear lines and asymmetrical shapes repeats the recognizable style of the brand. The walls are covered with the signature warm saffron yellow vegan leather, while the chrome pedestal shelves echo the shape of the bottle.
Now you just have to come to Malaya Bronnaya 24/1 for a fragrance journey and stay for a long time in a sunny boutique.
