In the near future, film companies will start working on new films based on The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. So far, the agents keep the details of the plot secret. At the same time, they also stated that they would not publish remakes of Peter Jackson’s paintings. Instead, they plan to expand the universe.

“We understand the value of these movies and our partners New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. “We plan to honor the past, look to the future and hold ourselves to the highest quality and production values.”

Note that Peter Jackson directed three episodes of The Lord of the Rings, which aired from 2001 to 2003. The final film in the trilogy won Oscars in many categories.
