London and Paris-based production, financing and distribution company Film Constellation is handling global sales and bringing the film to EFM.
Set on a coastal estate in the United States during the 1918 Spanish Flu, the film follows a rebellious servant who leads a rebellion against his wealthy employer.
Sarsgard (The Batman, The Lost Daughter, Dopesick) plays with Billy Magnussen (No Time to Die, The Many Saints of Newark, Game Night) and Sarah Gadon (Coming Ferrari, Maps to the Stars, Enemy).
STEP! is produced by Brian Levy for Entertainment 360, Warner Davis and Todd Friedman of Hemlock Circle Productions and Molly Conners, Amanda Bowers and Jane Sinisi for Phiphen with Harris Gurny. Executive producers include Fabien Westerhoff, Magnussen with his Happy Bad Bungalow banner and Peter Sarsgaard.
Production expects the film to be ready in time for this year’s fall festivals.
