The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held its annual Oscar Nominee Luncheon on Monday to celebrate this year’s hopefuls.
The event at the Beverly Hilton concluded with the annual class photo.
This year’s entry list includes previous winners such as The FablesSteven Spielberg and rich in light‘s Roger Deakins, a 15-time nominee and two-time winner; and previous nominees, including Top Gun: Maverickby Tom Cruise, mythical creaturesMichelle Williams, women talkis Sarah Polley, Glass Onion: A Mystery of Bladesby RyanJohnson, Babylon‘s Mary Zophres and 14-time contestant Diane Warren. Newcomer nominees included The whale‘s Brandon Fraser and Hong Chau, elvisAustin Butler and After sunby Paul Mescal.
all at once, which has 11 top nominations this year, was well represented with the likes of Michelle Yeoh, Stephanie Hsu and Ke Huy Quan.

The event kicks off a series of Academy programs leading up to the Oscars, which take place on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theater and will be broadcast live on ABC. Screenings, panels and more hosted by AMPAS are scheduled to take place at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
