Recently, Megan Fox gave a lengthy interview for British Glamor magazine where she talks about her personal life, child-rearing and why she is ridiculed in Hollywood. The actress said she opposed misogyny early in her career, which is why she faced misunderstanding from her colleagues.

“I think I was almost a decade ahead of the #MeToo movement. I always stood up against the offensive, misogynistic, patriarchal stuff that happened in Hollywood in 2008 and 2009, long before people were ready to accept or tolerate it. Then it’s really ridiculous for that. I’m in a situation…” the star began.

According to Megan, she’s used to her statements not being taken seriously. “I regret that my identity has been lost so much by people. I lost my sense of humor. My intelligence is unknown. Sometimes I feel like I’m wasting my energy giving myself away to people who don’t understand or appreciate (me). But nothing ever happened that made me look back and think, “I shouldn’t have done this.” Terrible things made me work hard on myself, but because of this I grew exponentially, ”said the actress.
