Despite the rather boring Golden Globe red carpet, quite a lot of trends were noticed. We summarize everything seen in our material.
Let’s start, perhaps, with the color pink, which still does not give up its positions. This time we saw dresses in delicate shades at Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki and Julia Garner. Flowers were another obvious trend on the red carpet—and in several variations: Chinese actress Lisa Lu embroidered them onto her dress, but in Eddie Redmayne’s image, the flower played the role of an accent brooch. Also in favor were the lingerie style, dark Gothcore aesthetic, and translucent textures.
But the most important trend of the Golden Globes red carpet was sequins. Heidi Klum, Angela Bassett, Jen Statsky, Daniella Peak, Jennifer Coolidge and Sepide Moafi relied on sparkly dresses. Let’s take a closer look at the trends in our selection.
