Princess Diana’s letter has been auctioned for £18,000 (about 1,250,000 rubles – Ed.). This was reported by the British newspaper The Sun.

This is a note from Lady Dee thanking police sergeant George Plumb for staging a motorcycle show on William’s birthday. It contains the signatures of the princess and her sons. The letter was written on an official paper from Kensington Palace dated June 21, 1989.

“Dear Sergeant Plumb, how kind of you and your team to come here for Prince William’s birthday today! I can’t tell you what a joy the show has brought to these little people and their mothers! I know how busy you all are right now, so I’m with a team of motorbike kids. It is even more admirable that you were able to attend the birthday celebration together! We extend our most sincere thanks to you. Best regards, Diana, William, Harry,” The Sun newspaper quoted.
