The world’s most pierced woman has revealed she has more than 3,500 piercings in her vagina and is aiming for 20,000 across her entire body.
Elaine Davidson, who lives in Edinburgh and is covered from head to toe in more than 15,000 metal piercings, spoke to Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary this morning to discuss even more.
Despite the seven pound jewellery, she admitted she wants to get 20,000 piercings to keep her world record title.
The Brazilian-born woman explained that she also has 3,500 piercings in her vagina, but she has to go to America to get them done because they won’t do them in the UK.
After host Alison asked if she had ever gotten ‘infections’ from her piercings, she said: ‘No, you have to be extremely careful because if you don’t, of course they will get infected.

“I use vinegar and I have a good doctor. She is wonderful and she is very understanding.”
When asked if they ever fall out, she said: “No, because it’s in there, it’s really in there, so there’s no way they’re very safe.”
Elsewhere, Dermot quipped: “Do you ever wake up and be lazy when you sleep?” To which she replied, “depends on who I sleep with.”
Of the reaction she gets when she’s out on the road, she said, “Some people like others they don’t like, but I’m getting used to the good and the bad comments.”
“It started when I was very young. I always wanted to be in the Guinness World Record. This book was my passion for me, everything, it was my dream.
“After trying for a long time, I managed to meet the Guinness World Record people and they made me part of the family. It was great, one of the best things that happened to me.
She further explained that she no longer finds the piercings painful and that she can now even pierce herself.

She said: “The personal piercings. I have a friend of mine who can do it for me in America because in the UK they don’t like doing genitalia.
The former nurse first broke the record for most piercings in May 2000 when a Guinness World Records official examined her and found 462 piercings on her body, including 192 on her face.
Besides her piercings, she also dyes her hair bright colors and adds some braids and tattoos to her face and body.
The quirky Edinburgh native also sleeps on a bed of nails, walks on fire and lies on broken glass, and has a black belt in judo, which she earned in Japan.
Elaine has been an accomplished performer at the Fringe Festival for over 20 years and is well known among the locals.
