We pour 500 ml of cold water into the glass until it is full and put two eggs to cook in the basket and in the glass. Bake at 1/120 °C for 14 minutes. After cooking, empty the basket, rinse with water and dry thoroughly.
We put the Serrano ham in the glass with the measuring cup attached, chop it for 3 seconds and transfer it to a plate. We will save this step if we want the pieces to be more specific or if we have already chopped everything we like.
Next comes the onion, which we will chop for 7 seconds with the Turbo. After chopping, add olive oil and butter and fry for 3 minutes at 120°C with the sautéing switch.
Add the flour roasted at 2 Speed and 120 °C for 3 minutes and then the milk. It is important that it is not cold so that lumps do not form. Add coconut, black pepper and salt and mix for 10 seconds on 6 Speed. After mixing, add the ham and cook the béchamel sauce at 120 °C on Speed 3 for 7 minutes. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes and meanwhile peel and chop the boiled eggs, which we will add later.
Pour the dough into a bowl or tray and cover it with leather (we stick with cling film so that the dough does not dry out), rest in the refrigerator until the next day.

The most boring part has come but luckily we have all the tricks in the world to make our job easier, for example using these kitchen tongs for styling. After the ticket is bought we go through eggs and grated bread. Chef’s tip: If we want an extra crunchy dough, let’s add a step and run it through the breadcrumbs before the eggs. So we go through breadcrumbs, eggs and again breadcrumbs. It’s a secret to make croquettes always look good.
once battered, fry in olive oil And enjoy, because making croquettes is always a pleasure, and even more enjoyable if it is this easy to make using the Lidl food processor.
