Harry Enfield has put his cherished holiday home in North Cornwall up for sale for £2.85 million, two decades after buying it with his now-estranged wife, children's clothes designer Lucy Lyster, for £826,000.
The Old Granary, in St Minver near Wadebridge, sits within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty overlooking the Camel Estuary. The six-bedroom property, currently let out as a holiday home, has an entrance hall, a sitting room with vaulted ceilings and a log burner, a large south-facing terrace, a footpath down to the water's edge, and access to nearby tennis courts.
Enfield, 65, has spoken often of his attachment to the area. "This is where I go surfing every day in the summer and on New Year's Day, and most of the time at Easter," he has said, adding: "I've been coming to Polzeath since 1972, and I've lost all my hair here and I've lost two wedding rings in that surf." Polzeath is a nearby surfing destination popular with visitors to the Camel Estuary.
Enfield is a Bafta-winning comedian best known for creating and performing sketch characters including Kevin the Teenager and the Slobs.
The Cornwall sale follows the sale of Enfield's former marital home in Notting Hill, west London, which fetched £10.79 million, a profit of nearly £5 million. Enfield and Lyster bought the five-storey London house for £6 million in 2008, and the couple separated in 2020 after 23 years of marriage.
Lyster, 63, who has previously praised Enfield's "huge sex appeal," has three children with him. The couple are friends with former Prime Minister Lord David Cameron and his wife, Samantha. Enfield has been contacted for comment.
Shappi Khorsandi trains as a psychotherapist
Comedian Shappi Khorsandi, 53, who is training to become a psychotherapist, hopes to use the qualification to support fellow performers. The Tehran-born comic, who made her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2000, said her dream was to have her own booth at the festival where people could come in for a chat. "I could have done with that," she said, adding: "There is no pastoral care, no HR, no one to sit with you in your s***."
Zara Larsson spots a fan in the crowd
Zara Larsson, who has 11.9 million followers on TikTok, picked out one of her fans in the audience at the All Points East festival in London's Victoria Park at the weekend. The Swedish singer, 28, wore a beaded, bejewelled bra top and sequinned mini skirt for the performance.
Before singing her hit Midnight Sun, Larsson called out to an unidentified fan in the crowd, saying: "I think I saw your TikTok?" She also brought another fan, Megan Easton, on stage to join her for her Lush Life dance routine.
Ronnie Wood's solo show hits an 11pm curfew
Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood, 79, had to rush through the closing numbers of his solo show at London's O2 Forum in Kentish Town after organisers threatened to cut the power over the venue's 11pm curfew.
After performing a "down and dirty" version of the Stones classic Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Wood told the crowd: "We can't even finish our show." He added: "We've got to move on or they're gonna cut the power!" His wife, Sally, 48, and their ten-year-old twin daughters, Gracie and Alice, watched from the wings. The shows were Wood's first solo performances in more than 16 years.
Stanley Johnson celebrates his 86th birthday
Stanley Johnson marked his 86th birthday with guests including former I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! contestant Georgia Toffolo, 31, at his family farm in Exmoor. Toffolo and Johnson, who have a 55-year age gap, have remained friends since appearing together on the ITV reality show in 2017. Toffolo shared a selfie from the celebration, describing it as an "unbelievably happy time."
Julian Ovenden's backstage pedicure
Julian Ovenden, 49, who is starring in a UK tour of the Cole Porter musical High Society, has been treating himself to pedicures, according to his co-star Helen George. Ovenden, an Eton-educated actor and singer, is the son of one of Queen Elizabeth II's former chaplains.
George, 42, who plays socialite Tracy Lord opposite Ovenden and is known for her role in Call the Midwife, revealed the habit on her Mystic Mates podcast. "Julian, who plays opposite me, had a pedicure," she said. "Also, I've got a foot spa in my room, which sounds so princessy, but I do all the show dancing, and my feet are so sore all the time and they're really gnarly and cut up." She added: "So, I've got this foot spa in my room that he's always trying to nick."

BBC Countryfile presenter Anita Rani, 48, who has often spoken about her child-free independence and career, said she has begun to wonder what her future will look like. "I don't have children and I love my work; I've got so much energy and I'm up to lots of different things and it's a choice... but I do sometimes wonder, what will my life be like when I'm older?" she said.
