Netflix has set Sept. 3 for the global premiere of the documentary Fito Páez: El mundo cabe en una canción, focusing on the Argentine singer-songwriter.
According to the streaming platform, the musician will tell his own story in the first person, beginning with the 2024 accident that forced him to halt part of his tour and brought him to physical and emotional limits.
The production covers Páez's significant relationships, career achievements, setbacks, and a reinvention spanning more than four decades.

According to the film's synopsis, the project observes, listens to, and interacts with Páez with deep intimacy. A nearly invisible camera accompanied the artist for over a year across recordings, rehearsals, tours, and concerts in major cities throughout Latin America, Europe, and the United States.
The film details his loves, heartbreaks, children, friendships, excesses, tragedies, failures, and successes using unpublished archival footage, live recordings, and intimate conversations.
Direction by Matías Gueilburt
Matías Gueilburt, a personal friend of Páez, directed the film. Gueilburt previously directed El vendedor de ilusiones: El caso Generación Zoe, Los ladrones: el robo del siglo, and Vilas: Serás lo que debas ser o no serás nada. His personal connection with Páez provided the high level of access and intimacy shown throughout the documentary.
