Farrah Abraham has filed to run for Austin City Council in Texas, marking a political move following her career in reality television and adult entertainment.
The 35-year-old former Teen Mom castmember submitted paperwork to enter local politics in the Texas state capital, local television station KVUE-TV reported. Abraham, who was born in Nebraska and raised in Iowa before settling in Texas, stated that holding local office would allow her to serve her community.
"I think running for local city council in your city and doing, like, a district, I think that really opens your eyes to what and how you can improve and give back to a city that's given you so much," Abraham explained. "I think everyone who has been in the public eye should give back to the community wherever they are."
Alongside her political filing, Abraham was recently seen taking a dip in a pool during a day of fun in the sun in Austin. The reality television star stepped out wearing a tiny metallic gold bikini while flaunting her best poses both in and out of the water. She wore her signature fiery red locks down in a middle-part bob and donned plenty of make-up for the pool day.
Abraham displayed a figure sculpted through multiple trips to the plastic surgeon over her years in the public eye. Her past procedures include multiple breast augmentations, a nose job, a chin implant, and a liquid BBL, a Brazilian butt lift procedure created through dermal fillers rather than implants or a fat transfer.
Cosmetic Procedures and Body Image
The media personality has spoken openly about her history with cosmetic surgery and mental health. Speaking on the We Need To Talk podcast, Abraham admitted to suffering from facial dysmorphia in the past and acknowledged, "I did all of my surgeries in a depressive, grieving state."
During her podcast appearance, Abraham stated that she had considered removing her breast implants, but expressed concern that doing so could affect her earnings as an adult content creator. "What are boobs? Boobs are a selling mechanism for adult stuff," she said. "Look, this is the world I was born into. Not what I'm creating. I'm letting you know how a single woman survives in life."
When reached for comment by the Daily Mail, Abraham clarified that she "definitely" battled dysmorphia "at one point in my life" but has since experienced a change after removing her chin implant. "But after having my chin implant removed, I honestly started to feel like myself again. Since then, I've felt normal and much more at peace with my appearance," she shared.
Abraham also discussed body changes following the birth of her daughter Sophia, to whom she is a single parent. "After having Sophia, I also felt like I had to rebuild my body. Pregnancy changes your body in so many ways, and I think it took me some time to adjust and reconnect with myself," she continued. "But I don't feel that dysmorphia anymore. Now, I genuinely feel happy with my body and want to celebrate it in as many ways as I can."
Abraham told the Daily Mail that she will not be removing her breast implants any time soon, despite previously toying with the idea. "They make me feel feminine, and I'm really enjoying being in my feminine era. At the end of the day, I think women should do whatever makes them feel good about their bodies," she said. "Whether that means changing something or embracing what you have, every woman deserves to feel confident and happy in their own skin."
The My Teenage Dream Ended author stated that she has only one surgery left, which is a corrective procedure on her jaw, after which she feels "everything will be perfect." Abraham has spent over six figures on procedures to alter her appearance over the years, with the reality star previously referring to her physique as a "million-dollar body." Speaking to the Daily Mail last year, she admitted that she has spent around $50,000 on her lips alone.

Since finding fame on Teen Mom, Abraham has reinvented herself as a top-earning OnlyFans creator. Her career in adult entertainment began in 2013 when she starred in the best-selling sex tape Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom. She originally claimed that the video had been recorded in private for her own personal use, but later admitted that she had been convinced by a former manager to film it as a way to boost her career.
Abraham has now branched out into adult AI content and recently launched her own AI twin with OhChat. The digital twin technology allows for automated content generation, including starring in an AI adult tape and appearing on the cover of FHM magazine.
"I feel so comfortable and at peace with my body now that I want to create as much content as possible and have fun with it. The reality is, I don't always have time to be doing photo shoots or filming videos, but my AI twin lets me create content in minutes," she told the Daily Mail. "For me, making a digital twin of myself is actually a sign of how confident I feel now. If I wasn't feeling good about my body, I wouldn't have created an AI version of myself, and had her star in an AI adult tape or on the cover of FHM magazine. I'm at a point where I really enjoy celebrating myself and having fun with my image."
