EXCLUSIVE: Image Announces Curt Pires’ INDIGO CHILDREN Comic with Awesome Variant Cover by Jenny Frissen and a Film Adaptation in the Works

Today, Image announced a new comic by Curt Pires (Olympia) called Indigo children. For the book, Pires is collaborating with the artist Alex Diotto (Olympia) and colourist Dee Cuniffee for this new series. Rockwell White he will also work with Pires by co-writing some issues and the comic is described as “Stranger things leaning on the heavier Spielbergian science fiction. It looks pretty amazing! The story of Indigo children will explore the real-world phenomenon where people believe they have Martian heritage. I’ve been reading a bit of the first issue and it looks pretty interesting.

What’s more, Indigo children is already in development into a film with Jeff Ludovico (Alan Wake) at the helm. This marks yet another adaptation of another of Pires’ projects for a screen like his series Youth is in development at Amazon Prime and its series Wyrd is in development at FX con Matthew Rhys (Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai) set to star.
