‘Avatar: The Sense of Water’ has already hit theaters. James Cameron is once again behind this gigantic cinematic event which marks the return of audiences to the fictional world of Pandora thirteen years after the release of the original which is still the highest grossing film in history.

Billed as a milestone in visual effects, the film represents a giant leap forward in underwater filming. But the Na’vi have also received an improvement, the anthropomorphic creatures that populate this world. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), already a real Na’vi after the events of “Avatar”, returns as the protagonist along with Neytiri, the character of Zoe Saldana.
Next to them we see their extended familycomposed of Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), Lo’ak (Britain Dalton) and Tuk (Trinity Jo-Li Bliss), their biological children, Kiri (Sigourney Weaver), daughter of Dr. Grace Augustine and adopted by Neytiry and Jake, and Spider (Jack Champion), a human child who Jake reluctantly takes in from his wife.

The young promises of Pandora
Since none of them got to see their faces behind the computer at any point in the film (except, of course, Spider), let’s examine who is behind the pixels. Young stars who want Pandora to be their stepping stone to the big leagues. The most advantaged students are Jack Champion, who we will see in ‘Scream VI’and Bailey Bass, who plays Tsireya, daughter of Ronal (Kate Winslet) and Tonowari (Cliff Curtis), who is part of the cast of the series “Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice.”
