Just a month and a half after its release in theaters, ‘Black Adam’ is already asking for the passage on the platforms, specifically on HBO Max, the exclusive service of Warner Bros. The new film from the DC universe will arrive on December 16tha curious date to say the least, given that it coincides with the awaited premiere of ‘Avatar: The Sense of Water’ in theaters.
After seven weeks at the box office, it’s time to take stock of its time in theaters and, spoiler alert: it didn’t go as planned. The film raised $387 millionfalling short of expectations and far short of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe release, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ which has raised $737 million to date.
For the protagonist Dwayne Johnson, alias The Rock, ‘Black Adam’ becomes his most successful premiere. Johnson likes Warner and Warner seems to like him too, even if at the moment everything is quite confusing since the DC universe is submerged in a flood of changes and rumors that do not allow to debunk what is true from what is not. However, according to Deadline, Warner’s intentions are to have a strong and lasting relationship with the actor.
