Anya Taylor-Joy lends her voice to revive Princess Peach in the future The Super Mario Bros. Movie. To prepare for the role that The Queen’s Gambit Star became a player.

Taylor-Joy joins a star-studded cast who will voice the iconic characters. The cast includes Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.

The film is being produced for Nintendo by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto. The film is co-financed by Universal Pictures and Nintendo and will be released worldwide by Universal Pictures.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be released on April 7, 2023.
