“The Flash” advances one week in June 2023;  Warners adds “mummies” to next year’s list

How great is the Ezra Miller film The Lightning? So good that Warners moved it back a week to June 16, Father’s Day weekend, when Disney has the original Pixar film Elementary and Sony has the R-rated picture of Jennifer Lawrence No bad feelings.

Despite Miller’s headlines over the past year, including a Vermont burglary charge for stealing alcohol, we’ve heard The Lightning tested through the roof, with one non-studio observer telling us that the DC title “Spider-Man: No Way Home Good” with its multi-faceted storylines and Batman appearances by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.

With Miller’s noise on the news, many wondered if The Lightning wanted to go to HBO Max, but Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav said the DC title will remain in theaters. Miller has reportedly signed with Warner Bros. met its new film executives, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy. Miller publicly apologized for his troubling behavior in mid-August.

Warner Bros. is also on the program today mummies before February 24. Directed by Juan Jesus Garcia Galocha, it stars Sean Bean and Hugh Bonneville, among others. Produced by Jordi Gasull, Pedro Solis and Toni Novella.
