A bizarre trailer and poster have been released for the comedy-drama Angry neighborshero Frank Langella (The Americans, The Chicago 7 trial) And Bobby Cannavale (Will and Grace, Ant man), as well as Cheech Marine (Born in East LA, Cheech and Chong), who voices a dog in the film named Hector. They are united by Stockard Channing (Fat, Practical Magic), And Ashley Benson (Pretty little liars).
Here is the synopsis:
When his ultra-wealthy neighbor in the Hamptons builds an obnoxious mega-mansion next door, grumpy retired novelist Harry March hatches an elaborate plan for revenge that is bound to go hilariously wrong.
It looks like it could be fun, and the cast is great, but the trailer honestly felt a little weird. I didn’t find myself laughing at all, and the inexplicable storyline involving Langella’s character and her obsession with her hair felt really weird and dark. But perhaps the trailer is misleading and this will prove to be a hoot. Check out the trailer and poster below and see Angry neighbors in select US theaters and on VOD December 2.
