Amazon has shared the first teaser trailer for its upcoming series Gen Vwhich is the college spin-off series of The boys, and as you might expect, it looks completely out of whack! It is filled with all the violent and insane content that you have come to love and enjoy The boys. Sounds gloriously crazy!
The project is inspired by the G-Men, which is a parody of the X-Men in The boys comic series. “Set in America’s only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (operated by Vought International), Gen V is an irreverent, R-rated series that explores the lives of hormonal and competitive Supes as they test their physical, sexual and moral limits, vying for the best contracts in the best cities. It’s part college show, part Hunger games – wholeheartedly, satire and vulgarity of The boys.”
Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lisa Broadway (Bone), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage bounty hunters), Thor of London (Shameless), Derek Luh (Worth shining), Asa Germann (Caviar), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (Barber shop), Marco Pigossi (Invisible city), And Clancy Brown.
