Director of visual development at Marvel Studios Andy Parco shared some new concept art for Taika Waititi’S Thor: Love and thunder. This graphic features an alternate character design for Gorr’s daughter, who becomes Thor’s adopted daughter at the end of the film. The character was played by the real life daughter of Chris Hemsworth and they are sure to make a dynamic duo moving forward.
This concept art was created for the team by John Staub and Park explained how the team thought this version of the character was a lot of fun:
“Spreading lots of LOVE on this day! I loved coming up with the concept design for Love for Thor: Love And Thunder Taking a cue from fellow artist Vis Dev @johnstaubart’s Gorr design, I explored the idea of creating a look that spoke to her personality This design I did was before I was told it would be chosen by Chris Hemsworth’s real daughter, which I thought would be perfect.
The character has a very playful Punky Brewster vibe to her. I like!
