With 40 years in the cinema and some of the highest-grossing films in history such as ‘Titanic’ and ‘Avatar’, but also some masterpieces such as ‘Terminator 2’ and ‘Aliens’, James Cameron sees the moment ever closer to hanging up the camera and retire at the height of his career. But until then, the director has a couple of things to figure out before he gets to that point.

In a speech to The Hollywood Reporter, James Cameron has revealed that he has five or six more films to make before he retires. That seems like a number any other director or production company could surpass in a few years, but at 68, the ‘Terminator’ director is clear that someone else must fill ‘Avatar’ in his absence.
