The wild trailer of the horror comedy holds the fort makes fun of a battle between an association of owners of houses and monsters from hell

What happens when you finally land at the home of your dreams just to find that it is at the center of a grass war between a demonic invasion and an association of owners of houses hungry for power?

This is the infernal installation around the first trailer for Keep the fortA new horror comedy preview this month at the Fantasia Film Festival of 2025 in Montreal.

Directed by William Bagley (The murder podcast) ,, Keep the fort Lucas and Jenny follows, a young couple whose excitement for their first home turns into pure terror when they realize that their quiet suburban ass has a bad little secret, that is, “a battle between their association of owners of houses and an assault of monsters from hell”.

The film looks like a bloody mash-up of The “BURBS AND Army of DarknessWith monsters of all shapes and sizes that descend on the periphery while Hoa maintains its struggle for total control of the neighborhood.

Here is how the film is officially described: “Lucas and Jenny think that their life is finally gathering when the couple becomes owners of houses. Little know that their new home arrives with a great capture.

“Lucas and Jenny soon find themselves in a struggle for their lives when they become trapped in a battle between their association of houses owners and an assault of monsters from hell. The horror comedy takes the timely concern for the ownership of the house and wraps it in a fun race to a thrilill full of action.”

Bagley seems enthusiastic to bring his latest horror comedy to fantasy, calling the premiere a personal milestone: “It was my goal from the murder podcast and finally having the opportunity to play, there is a dream that has become reality!”

The film is the protagonist Chris Mayers, Haley Leary, Julian Smith, Mark AshworthAND Levi Burickand is based on a story of Scott Hawkins.

Keep the fort It is released by Blue Finch Films by the end of the year. No release date has yet been announced, but it looks like a funny house of blood, bureaucracy and killing of the demons of the suburb.
