Jennifer looked sensational in the video which showcased her transformation from her debut album cover to the mega-diva she is today. The clip began with the “Let’s Get Loud” singer kneeling on her first album cover and looking totally millennial chic in a doll-like pink dress with a matching beanie and icy eyeshadow.
The album cover came to life when J. Lo looked up and told the fans, “That’s me then.” The scene then transformed to the present day, showing a sculpted 53-year-old Jennifer against a dark background. She modeled in a white corset, leather jacket and hipster pants and declared, “This is me now,” as her title track melody played in the background.
The album marks a creative breakthrough for Ms. well afflicted🇧🇷 this is me now “It characterizes the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey he has taken over the past two decades,” according to a press release about the forthcoming album.
Fans had a feeling something might be up when the star’s social media went dark earlier in the week. Now you can expect 13 new tracks from the beauty.
While the video got fans talking, their eyebrows also raised when they saw number 7 on the track listing, titled “Dear Ben pt. ll,” a song follow-up to their debut. Jennifer and Ben were young lovers when she made her 2002 album he. Now, 20 years later, the pair have finally tied the knot and are living their best life together.
Her romance with Ben appears to be the inspiration for much of the song. There is also a song titled “Midnight Trip to Vegas” following their July 2022 wedding in Sin City.
